Congratulations to Commercial Bank of California: Named Fastest-Growing Large Private Company in Orange County by OCBJ

We are thrilled to congratulate our client, Commercial Bank of California (CBC), for being named the fastest-growing large private company in Orange County by the Orange County Business Journal. Over the past 12 months, CBC reported an impressive 36% increase in sales, reaching a revenue milestone of $142.5 million as of June. This marks an astounding 119.8% growth over the last two years.
Led by Chairman and CEO Ash Patel, CBC has remained dedicated to supporting the small businesses in its community. “Most of the big banks are focused on larger companies. Our minority-owned status instead creates a tight focus on the [small] businesses in our community,” Patel shared.
In addition to its financial success, CBC has doubled its headcount since 2022, now employing 201 team members. And with the upcoming merger with Bay Community Bancorp, even more growth is on the horizon.
CBC is one of the nation’s highest capitalized banks founded by entrepreneurial business owners and led by a talented team with an ownership mindset. CBC is a full-service, FDIC-insured, business bank headquartered in Irvine, California. The company is owned, built, and run by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs. Over the last 15 years, CBC has built a foundation rooted in integrity, fearless leadership, and a dedication to a purposeful approach to banking.
